Burning my Candle for the first time
Trim all wicks to 5mm in length before lighting your candle. Soy & Coconut wax has a memory. To ensure that your candle does not tunnel, make sure to burn your candle for a maximum of 4hrs to allow a wax pool to form all the way to the edge of the vessel.
Do I need to trim my wick after every burn?
The wick should be trimmed after every burn. Simply extinguish the flame with a wick dipper or snuffer. Let the candle come to room temperature and trim the wick to 5mm before relighting to help maintain the wick and prevent the oil from burning.
How do I extinguish my Candle?
For a smoke free and cleaner option to extinguish your candle, use a wick dipper to dip the lit wick into the melted pool and pull the wick back out. This method helps eliminate smoke, soot and the smell produced after blowing out a candle. A snuffer or our metal lid can also be used to suffocate the flame to extinguish your candle and it also prevents wax from being blown astray.
